New Davidoff Lounge Opens in Ridgewood New Jersey 10/2/14
Attention North Jersey Aficionados!!!
The Davidoff branded lounge campaign continues to surge as the company plans to officially open its newest cigar oasis in the village of Ridgewood, New Jersey, on this Thursday night (Oct 2 2014).
The new lounge is 2,400 square feet of smoking luxury that incorporates modern design into a historical building erected in 1931. It is housed above Gary and Barbara Kolesaire's Tobacco Shop of Ridgewood, which has been selling cigars for 35 years.
Exposed brick walls and a natural skylight give the space a sense of tradition, while the recessed ceiling lights, accent track lighting and wall sconces provide a soothing warmth. Plush leather chairs, shapely coffee tables and a stunning natural gas fireplace add elegance and class.
Like the Davidoff lounge in San Antonio, the company commissioned artists Mike Baca and Fernando Romero of art collective UR New York to create a piece of art that captures the fusion of Davidoff with Ridgewood. The result is a 3-D wall sculpture that is a collage of cigar box woodburnings depicting cigar smoking and various images of New York city, which is about an hour-long car ride from Ridgewood.
